Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Chris Crouch, a sole proprietor in Florida, USA, doing business as Roundwright ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Roundwright app, you agree to them. If you use Roundwright for a business, you agree on its behalf. Questions: support@roundwright.com.
1. What Roundwright is
Roundwright is a tool for home watch operators to keep client and property records, plan visits, run checklists, and send visit reports by email. It helps you do your work; it doesn't do the work for you. You remain responsible for your services, your inspections and what you tell your clients.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and give accurate information.
- Keep your password and device secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including what delegates you invite do with the access you give them.
- Tell us promptly at support@roundwright.com if you think your account has been misused.
3. Your data and your clients' data
- You own the information you put into Roundwright. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to provide the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You're responsible for having the right to enter your clients' information, including access codes, and for having their permission to email them reports.
- You can export your client list at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use Roundwright to break the law, to send spam or messages people haven't agreed to receive, to store information you have no right to hold, or to interfere with the service or other people's accounts. Don't try to get around its security or its usage limits, including the daily AI import limit.
5. Subscriptions
Some features may need a paid subscription. Subscriptions are bought and managed through Apple's App Store and renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple account settings. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. If a subscription ends, we won't delete your data; some properties may be locked until you subscribe again, as described in the app.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Roundwright running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. The app is built to work offline and send reports when you reconnect; still, keep your own records of anything critical. We may change or improve features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes.
7. Disclaimer
Roundwright is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In particular, we don't guarantee that a report email will be delivered, or that information imported with AI is accurate: check it on the review screen before saving.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, arising from your use of Roundwright. Our total liability for any claim relating to Roundwright is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Roundwright in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Roundwright at any time, and delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account) or by emailing support@roundwright.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where reasonable.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Roundwright or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and isn't responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Your use of the app must also follow the App Store's terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Roundwright after a change, you accept the updated terms.
